Pacific Islands celebrate bicentenary

The thousands of islands of Oceania scattered throughout the vast Pacific are entering the bicentenary period this evening, 20 October. The islands here are home to a continental Bahá’í House of Worship in the outskirts of Apia, Samoa, and plans are underway for national and local Houses of Worship to be built in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and Tanna, Vanuatu, respectively.
