Festival for young people in the Philippines As part of the celebrations in Paranaque, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, several groups of children come together for a festival during the bicentenary period. The festival provided an opportunity for these small groups of children and young youth who are learning about spiritual and moral concepts in their local communities to meet others who are engaged in this same process. The festival is not only a place where teachers, parents, and children learn from each other, it also allows bonds of friendship to be developed among groups of people who are pursuing a common purpose: to create communities where everyone can play a part in their betterment.
