Commemorative video by an indigenous community in Bolivia
An indigenous community in Bolivia has created a commemorative video inspired by the bicentenary. The video features traditional dances that pay homage to the Báb, and expresses hope that the “highland winds with spiritual teachings open the doors to achieve unity and peace among the peoples of the world.” It includes scenes of people sharing the message of the Báb with others and quotes selections from His Writings. The video also reflects on the community’s history, noting in particular the efforts of the Jachacollo family, who in the 1950s became the first indigenous Bahá’ís in the country.
