Member of Parliament attends local bicentenary celebration
The Bahá’í community of Macpherson, Singapore, hosted Member of Parliament Melvin Yong at an event held to honor the bicentenary of the birth of the Báb. The event was preceded by weeks of rehearsals and preparations. The story of the life of the Báb was presented, and prayers from the Bahá’í writings were shared in the four official languages of Singapore. The audience joined in as children performed songs reflecting the principles of love and unity, accompanied by a trio on ukuleles.
