Momentum built towards celebration in Athens
The community in Athens, Greece, began preparing for the bicentenary by gathering to think about how to invite friends to celebrate this momentous occasion. Some friends intensified their study of the teachings of the Báb while others held smaller neighborhood gatherings to reflect on His life. A special screening of Dawn of the Light was shown in another part of the city and a rich discussion followed. At all events, those gathered were moved to invite more friends for the celebration of the bicentenary that was held in a municipal building.
