Exhibition of diverse arts

Evoking the profound imagery and metaphors in the life and message of the Báb, more than a dozen artists in Ireland collaborated on an exhibition called “Portals.” The theme draws on the Báb’s title, which means the Gate, and “invites a more conceptual exploration of borders and transitions; beginnings and endings; connections between this material world and the world of the spiritual.” The exhibit includes paintings, drawings, ceramic works, and more that were inspired by this theme.

Garden of Contemplation continues to offer space for reflection

To mark the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh in 2017, the Bahá’í community of County Kerry, Ireland, created a “Garden of Contemplation” in a local park. This space continues to offer a place of quiet contemplation for the local community. Among the trees and flowers, visitors can read and reflect on passages from different religions, poets and philosophers that have been installed throughout the garden.
