Representatives from various religions, organizations, and government attend bicentenary celebration
In Maputo, Mozambique, the bicentenary celebrations included the president of COREM (the Mozambican Council of Religions as well as leaders of the Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faith communities. To further emphasize the concept of unity in diversity deepened on in the Bahá’í Writings, symbols and books of multiple religions were displayed. The children also participated in the arts activities organized in honor of the celebration, and the youth of the community made a collective musical contribution.
