Storytelling activities across Finland
Communities across Finland have been dedicating time and effort to refine their storytelling abilities. They learned about the Báb’s mission and His teachings and explored ways in which they could use stories to capture what they had studied. As an example, one group arranged an interactive storytelling event for people of all ages. In Helsinki, an individual hosted a storytelling evening every two weeks for the period leading up to the bicentenary. Another group of four friends in Keminmaa memorized the words of the Báb so they could share them as they recounted episodes of the early moments of the Faith to their friends.
Creating spaces for friendship and prayers in bicentenary celebrations
Families and friends from around Finland held many joyful and intimate gatherings to celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of the Báb. Some commemorations were focused on creating space for collective prayer, which inspired attendees to start regular devotional gatherings of their own.

From a group’s singing of songs in Tampere, to children’s coloring activities in Helsinki, bicentenary celebrations across Finland brought together many communities in remembrance of the Báb’s remarkable life and teachings.
