Festive decorations welcome guests to a spiritually uplifting celebration

In the Hatay province of Turkey, festive streamers welcomed guests to a joyous celebration of the bicentenary of the birth of the Báb. Music featuring traditional instruments was performed, the film Dawn of the Light was screened, an exhibition about the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith was displayed, and guests partook of desserts made especially for the occasion.

A group of youth in Istanbul, Turkey, came together to paint a colorful mural on a building in their neighborhood, inspiring others in the area to contribute to the beautification of their own surroundings. Describing the purpose of the project, one youth commented, “We carried out this project to raise awareness in our region about the importance of serving together.”
