Culture and arts come together in Pakistan celebration
The Lok Virsa Museum of Cultural Heritage held a celebration infused with music and folk dance for the bicentenary of the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh. Some 500 people from all over Islamabad attended the programme. A group of Baha'i youth sang songs on love and peace, and a Bahá'í representative spoke about the significance of the bicentenary and the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh. Ms. Maryam Aurangzeb, the State Minister for Information & Broadcast and National Heritage also spoke on the occasion. She said that Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings regarding unity and oneness are inspirational.
