Homage paid by the town who produced the marble for the buildings at the Bahá’í World Centre
Celebrations in Chiampo, Italy, brought together over 200 people in a gathering that paid homage to the contributions made by the town’s marble manufacturers. Chiampo’s Margraf marble company produced the marble that was used for the buildings at the Bahá’í World Centre and the House of Worship in New Delhi, India. Those attending were moved by the accounts from retired craftsmen who assisted with the construction of pieces as well as an exhibition which included correspondence between the World Centre and the company.
