A mixed media art piece created in the United States seeks to convey the artist’s experience of entering the Shrine of the Báb, and incorporates calligraphy of a line from a Tablet written by Bahá’u’lláh in honor of the anniversary of the birth of the Báb: “In the name of the One born on this day, Him Whom God hath made to be the Herald of His name, the Almighty, the All-Loving!”

California State Senate marks bicentenary

The California State Senate marks the bicentenary and acknowledges the Bahá’í community’s contributions to society. The leader of the state Senate addressed her colleagues, noting “Throughout California, Bahá’í communities strive to collaborate with others to promote peace, justice, and unity, applying the spiritual principles to their lives and serving their fellow citizens in neighborhoods across our state.”
